Batteries play an important role in the use of automobiles. Battery life is about two years, if you care properly can also be extended.

 

First of all, batteries are afraid of low temperature. The capacity of batteries in low temperature environment is much lower than that in normal temperature. Normally used batteries in warm places suddenly run out of electricity in cold places. Therefore, the height of electrolyte should be checked before the cold season. If necessary, the electrolyte of the battery should be supplemented, the proportion of the electrolyte should be adjusted, and the electricity storage situation should be checked, and the battery should be charged. At the same time, the wiring harness of the battery is cleaned and protected by special grease to ensure reliable start-up and prolong the life of the battery.

 

Secondly, if the car is not used in the open air or cold storage for several weeks, the battery should be removed and stored in a warmer room to prevent the battery from freezing damage. When the environment temperature is below 10 degrees below zero, the batteries will freeze after discharge. Before charging, the frozen batteries must be thawed. Otherwise, direct charging may cause explosion, and it is better to charge them slowly with low current. Proper use should also be accompanied by careful maintenance, battery maintenance is not complicated, you can do it yourself.

 

The first step is to wipe the outside of the battery with a wet cloth and clean the dust, grease and white powder on the panel and the pillars (positive and negative poles). Frequent scrubbing of the battery's pillars will not only prevent the white etching powder from accumulating on it, but also prolong the life of the battery than expected.

 

The second step is to open the water cap of the battery and see if the water level is in the normal position. Generally, there will be upper and lower limit markings on the side of the battery for your reference. If it is found that the water level is below the subscript line, distilled water must be added - ordinary domestic water can not be replaced. If distilled water is not available, filtered tap water can be used for emergency. The water can not be added too much, the standard is the middle of the upper and lower markings most appropriate.
